Dr. Motin received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and joined Ford Motor Company as CAE Engineer in 2015. He served 4 years as Assistant Professor and Lecturer at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, 2 years as member of Bureau of Research, Testing and Consultancy in Bangladesh, and 6 months as consultant for two oil & gas industries in the USA.

Dr. Motin's expertise includes Non-Newtonian Fluid Mechanics, Modeling microstructure and orientation of polymer composite fibers and development of physical understanding of complex mechanics. His current research focuses on advanced model development for prediction of fiber orientation under various stress conditions during molding of composite material.
